Busy… with good reason.

It’s been about a month since I last blogged, but I think I have some decent excuses this time. To begin, it’s almost finals week and I’m studying like crazy. Tests are easy… coming up with 6-8 paintings in two weeks… now that’s a challenge! Especially since they take about 3 days to dry. (My teacher said he’d stomp on wet paintings!)

I also have three papers due. One, for music, another for English, and finally one to apply for the honors program which is due soon. I seriously have no time to waste. I’m even thinking about either painting or writing during my breaks at school.

To top everything off, (not saying this is a bad thing) I just got a kitten last night! I know it’s “bad timing” but I’ve always wanted a cat and she’s purrfect. I adopted her from a family that found 6 abandoned kittens under their home. Her name is Scarlett and she just came home last night. She is so curious. She inspects and plays with just about everything imaginable!
